This version is made from a cotton-linen fabric. From this year, a large back facing has been added to the back of the coat, designed with the idea of allowing the fabric to naturally fall and move toward the back when worn. The deep front overlap creates an asymmetrical look when fully buttoned, with the collars overlapping at the front. The storm cuffs can be adjusted to two different positions. The pattern is generously cut and almost flat in construction, much like a kimono. Yet the volume is never simply oversized. A coverall based on the pattern of a 1940s work jacket, reinterpreted in hickory stripe fabric. It features a gently flared A-line silhouette toward the hem. Compared to most ALTT MADE garments, the fit is closer to a regular silhouette while still allowing for comfortable wear. Only 3 pieces were made. The fabric has a soft texture and a naturally wrinkled finish, making it a perfect match for the seamless silhouette of the dolman sleeves. It features a slightly smaller, gently rounded collar for a coat. The front is finished with multiple buttons on the upper section only, allowing the fit around the body to be adjusted with ease. Its relaxed oversized silhouette allows it to be worn not only as a coat, but also with the sleeves rolled up like an oversized shirt. This is available in Size 4, featuring an oversized silhouette. The fabric has been used horizontally so the selvedge could be incorporated into the hem. Although this is a silhouette I make every season, this is the first time I’ve produced it in hickory stripe. As the fabric has now been completely used up, this is a one-of-a-kind piece and will not be restocked.
