Linen Gingham OvercoatHandcrafted in Tokyo, Japan.
An oversized overcoat crafted from lightweight 100% linen gingham shirting fabric.
One of ALTT MADE's signature pieces, the Overcoat is reimagined each season with subtle design refinements. This version is made in a fresh gingham check, giving the garment a light and effortless character.
Although designed as a coat, the lightweight linen fabric offers the comfort and ease of wearing a shirt, making it an ideal layering piece throughout the warmer months.
To enhance the natural drape of the fabric, a large back yoke has been incorporated into the construction, allowing the coat to fall beautifully when worn. (Please note: this detail is not shown in the product photos.)
Viewed from the side, the silhouette resembles a fishtail coat, while its exceptionally flat pattern construction is subtly inspired by the structure of traditional Japanese kimono.
The sleeves are finished with adjustable storm cuffs and black mother-of-pearl buttons. Roll up the sleeves and wear it casually like a shirt, or layer it as a lightweight coat.

リネン100%のシャツ生地を使用したオーバーコート。
ALTT MADEで毎シーズン、仕様に変化を加えながら作り続けている定番のオーバーコートを、今回は爽やかなギンガムチェックで仕立てました。
薄手で軽やかなシャツ生地を使用しているため、コートでありながらシャツのような軽い着心地が魅力です。
生地の軽さを活かしながら美しいドレープを生み出すため、後ろ身頃には大きな背当てを配置。着用時に自然な落ち感が出るよう設計しています。

サイドから見るとフィッシュテールのようなシルエット。超平面的な、どこか着物のような構造もこのコートの特徴です。
袖には調節可能なストームカフスを採用し、ボタンには黒蝶貝を使用。袖をラフにまくって、シャツのような感覚で軽く羽織るのもおすすめです。
